I am embarking on an important journey this month. Said self-imposed journey entails not spending any money on clothing, shoes, handbags, etc. I've done spending diets in the past, but this one is very specific and honestly, one of the main reasons why I'm doing it is to prove to myself that I can. I was inspired by Becky at The Pumpkin Spot who is remixing her closet while on her #NoSpendFeb. You can also follow along with Jaclyn at Sharing my Sole and Katie at Pearls and Twirls who are also participating in the challenge. I need all the support I can get!
Now I leave you with one of my new favorite quotes: "Collect experiences, not things." Some of my favorite experiences from 2013 and 2014:
Riding and walking over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Checking out NYC from the Empire State Building
Finally hiking to the top of Rattlesnake Ridge
A few of my goals during my very own No Spend February are:
1. Keep myself out of debt. I recently paid off my credit cards (for the 2nd time in my life) and it feels so good. Once my shopping cleanse is over, I know I am going to really think twice about purchasing something if I don't have the cash up front to buy it.
2. Shop my own closet by mixing pieces that I wouldn't normally try together. All in the name of fashion!
3. I'm hoping this will kickstart my desire to minimize, streamline and declutter my closet {and my life}.
4. Stop and smell the roses. And be more in the moment.

Overall, I think this will be a fun challenge and the month is almost halfway over, people. So, cheers to me making it through a couple more weeks. Use the hashtag #nospendfeb on instagram to follow along with us!
